Day by day with the addition of more and more quality application in windows mobile market or windows phone store are the factors which are attracting consumers to itself.

In the race of iOS and android operating system Windows operating system is also trying best and is becoming as third alternative for the consumers but due to few drawbacks it is unable to cop up with Android and iOS like avability of few apps infact very small as compared to google play store and iTunes moreover due to instability in windows OS are few factors which are avoiding consumers.

But with the release of Windows 8 operating system compatible in all three gadget namely phone, tablet and ultrabooks some of the flaws were fixed as the devices are now stable with good processing speed and as this operating system is light therefore the low specification device can also comfortably run without any lag., According to Microsoft last year they have around 80,000 total apps including paid app but now they have achieved around 1,40,000 apps as they promised, in Mobile world congress at Barcelona company has announced that they will reach upto 10 lakh apps by the end of this year, which is 3 lakhs more than the number of apps available in google play store and 2.5 lakh more than the number of apps in apple iTunes.

But as we all know that nothing is permanent may be windows OS will rule 2014, but however with the unavability of temple run and whatsapp it is still not good it is only promising operating system.
